1969 Gottlieb's "Road Race" Auto racing themed pinball machine for one player. Cute girls and vintage cars on the good condition backglass, crisp condition playfield just about as good as we ever see in a pre 1970's vintage pinball machine, Top Grade cabinet restoration nice game all round. Freshly rebuild April 2013 and ready for your garage or game room. Not too many auto/car themed vintage pinball machines were ever made and this 1969 Road Race would look great in a garage full of muscle cars. In 1969 you could walk into your Chevy dealer and order a Camaro ZL1 with over 500 HP then power slide into the local Bowling Alley and put a dime in Road Race as it too was new that year.

Perfect companion to Gottlieb's other auto racing themed pinball 1975 "Spin Out"  This is only the 2nd Road Race Pinrescue has ever had the pleasure of restoring and we just fell in love with this game. Great game play with a spin and spot feature make all ten checkpoints to light the specials.

 

Quality restored vintage pinball machines are a fun investment you and your family can enjoy every day. Muscle Cars from this era are bringing 6 figures when done right. Pinball machines may follow suit as the demand is booming (read Baby Boomers) and the supply of good working restored games is limited. Just where did the cool guys drive those Cuda's, Camaro's and Mustang's to back in 1969 ? Straight to the local 7/11, Soda Shop, mall or bowling alley to play machines like "Road Race".

 

Road Race is ready for your game room just completed the restore April 2013. Once this Road Race is sold it will be a long time before we get another one in good chance it will not be as nice as this one. We have safely shipped all over country insured inside delivery included in the price.
